Ustadh Gohar was born in Pakistan then moved to St. Louis, Missouri at the age of three with his parents and four older brothers. At age 13 he decided he wanted to do hifz and become an islamic scholar, thus enrolling in a part time hifz program alongside highschool. He attended public school which helped him understand the many challenges the youth face from being obedient to parents, dealing with the opposite gender, and peer pressure forcing them to commit obscene acts. Alongside his hifz journey he would give regular weekly khutbahs at the Islamic Foundation of Greater St.Louis from the age 17. At age 20 he then started his journey in Islamic sciences which he began in Jamia’tul Hussnain in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Maulana Iqbal was born in Colorado springs, Colorado and moved to Arlington, Texas as an infant where he was raised. While memorizing the Holy Quran he decided he needed to dedicate his life to study Islamic Studies in depth. His diverse background encouraged him a lot to pursue that path as most of his maternal relatives were still Christians and he wanted to engage with them in discussions of the in-depth knowledge of Islam. Therefore, He enrolled at Jamiatul Husanain in Indianapolis. With the grace of Allah he studied for 5 years covering from advanced Arabic literature to the  tafseer of  the Holy Quran, Sciences of Hadith, Interfaith and comparative religion, Fiqh and Laws of Jurisprudence and Aqeedah. He further pursued his studies in pakistan at Al husnain where he completed the Alimiyyah program. He studied with many scholars  and benefited immensely from  Maulana Tariq Jamil, Maulana Ubaidullah, Sheikh Ramzi Al Habib, along with  others. He is currently an instructor at ICC/Falah and head of ICC dawah activities.
